It's time to pull myself out of this slump I have been in and what better way to do that then to sketch naked girls (a subject I enjoy). So, for the next long while that is what I intend on doing.

If you don't like naked girls (or the fact that I am calling them 'girls'... I like calling them girls. Sounds sexy), please don't comment. And for those that do like naked girls, let me know what you think of my stuff.

Enjoy.

note: the images are not coming directly from my brain, I am using Errotica Archives for the posing/composition of the girls. The designs on them are all mine tho.

We must fight this...

The following was copied from another source [link] in order to spread the word about what could possibly kill free art as we know it:

"Orphan Works

Or, How You May Lose All the Rights to Every Piece of Art You Have Ever Created!

On April 5th, 2008, I interviewed Brad Holland of the Illustrator's Partnership about the Orphan Works bill and how it affects every artist and photographer in the world.

YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO THIS [link] because you are about to lose your copyright protection. Every one of you needs to stand up and be heard in order to protect what we have all created.

Please forward this information to every creative person and group you know. I give permission for this audio file to be copied and transferred and replayed so that everyone may learn about what is going on."

[link] <-same link as above. Seriously tho. Listen and fear.

This must be fought against. I do not know how. I would like help in finding out more info on this and how we as artists can fight this before it gets out of hand and free art is no longer free. I assume this is one of the 'right' places to post this and hope that others are as angered by this as me and knows how we can stop this foolishness.

April showers bring May comics...

Actually, April may bring the comic if all goes well on my end. That's a big bold, italic, underlined IF (in all CAPS too).

I have the attention span of a nat unfortunately, so trying to bring one of my zillion ideas to fruition is proving my most daunting challenge yet. One of many concepts and ideas is going through the final stages and the artistic style I am choosing to go with along with the direction of scripting will somehow mesh into a cohesive whole that will get me out of obscurity and into the hearts and minds of people that enjoy the subject matter at hand (at pencil?).

As to the subject choice, I finally decided on a story, setting, and characters (tho as of this posting, I still don't have the names for a few of the main cast ^^). The setting is classic high fantasy (aka Tolkien, Dungeons and Dragons, World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy, etc... yes there is a reason 3 of those examples are game systems ~.^). The characters are the 'typical' group of adventurers that fit in that type of setting. And the story... is fluid (read: unformed).

Wish me luck and drive me to actually do this thing (by reading it when it comes out). I will put a link up as soon as I get one. First comic (again, if all goes according to plan), April First. Updates as often as I can. My hope is for at least once a week, but hopefully more.

Wheee!

Working toward a goal...

I just got my WACOM Intuos 3 (6x8) graphic interface tablet.
I already have Photoshop CS2 (and a book for dummies to figure it out ^^).
And I have the 'main' characters designed for my comic ideas.

Damn... I am running out of excuses to procrastinate. :D

I suppose once I figure out how to use some basics in Photoshop and my Intuos tablet (which was pricey, but worth every penny, It is very cool) then I will be starting to do my comic.

Yay me!

Hope you'll like it (when it goes up), tho I wouldn't expect any regular updates, since I have a regular job to do as well (and unfortunately my regular job is not drawing a comic :( ).
